The Bigwood Lecture is a free event and is open to the public. Coming from Fargo/Moorhead\, Bock is the author of Just Give a Sh*t. Dare to Care\, Get REAL\, and Transform Your World. In addition to being an author\, she is a thought leader and people enhancer who has been referred to as a "boat rocker". Talking about her lecture\, Bock states\, "our workplaces\, communities\, schools and government everywhere we as humans interact seem to be in turmoil because we do not know how to communicate with each other. And that's because we don't know how to communicate with ourselves." She goes on to say\, "it doesn't have to be that way. When each of us decides to get R.E.A.L. with ourselves\, we invite others to do the same. When we collaborate and support each other in becoming the best we each can be\, amazing things happen in our communities\, families\, organizations\, and the world."
