This Block Party celebration will take place in conjunction with the Fergus Falls community festival Shop\, Move\, n' Groove with activities planned at both the Pavilion at Spies Park and in the Gallery! At Spies Park we'll be offering an urban printmaking activity as well as a vendor booth showcasing and selling works from local and regional artists. Enjoy a break from the heat in the air conditioned Kaddatz Galleries where we'll be offering a different printmaking activity featuring a commemorative Year of Beck block design in the Kaddatz Building Community Room. In the Main Gallery you'll catch a wood carving demonstration by Karl Beck\, son of Charles Beck\, while being surrounded by many of the woodcut blocks by Beck himself as a part of our exhibition C. Beck: Blocks & Prints. All of these activities and offerings are completely free and open to the public of all ages!
