DESCRIPTION:The new Chamber Member Benefits Academy (MBA) offers members a mixture of business-to-business networking\, valuable content from a local expert\, and a dash of "secret Chamber sauce" served with a light lunch. \n\n\n\nWednesday\, June 14 will feature Victoria McWane-Creek from Organization 4 Full Participation.\n\n\n\nFacilitative Leadership: Most people have been in groups where an outside person\, someone specially trained in group management\, will conduct a process. This is most often the case in terms of trainings and workshops. However\, as organizations become more complex and information more centered within each member of a group or team\, there has emerged a new role in group process a person who is part of the group\, an interested party in the group issues and mission because of their job\, who has the skills and interest to perform facilitation tasks that help the group and themselves achieve goals - a facilitative leader. In this session we'll introduce the fundamentals of facilitative leadership and offer a checklist to guide your ongoing development in this leadership competency.
