SUMMARY:Chamber Member Benefits Academy (MBA) - Planning for Measurable Equitable Results
DESCRIPTION:The Fergus Falls Chamber of Commerce is offering a new program: Chamber Member Benefits Academy (MBA) which offers members a mixture of business-to-business networking\, valuable content from a local expert\, and a dash of "secret Chamber sauce" served with a light lunch. Training topics include workforce recruitment strategies\, human resources tips\, financials\, workplace concerns\, leadership\, and much more. Chamber MBA will take place on the second Wednesday of each month in our meeting room. \n\n\n\nWednesday\, October 11 will feature Victoria McWane-Creek from Organization 4 Full Participation.\n\n\n\nMost of the work done around equity involves the dimensions of individual development and social interaction.  There is another dimension that requires our focused attention if we are sustain efforts. That dimension is structural and involves the policies\, practices and situations that influence and lead to equitable results.  What we know about equity\, is that we're not doing the work until we can prove it\, and we can't prove it unless our data demonstrates it. In this session\, we'll explore components of an Equity Strategic Action Plan that can enable organizations to demonstrate\, through intentional planning and action\, sustainably equitable improvement.
