SUMMARY:Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Plan Grant Informational Meetings
DESCRIPTION:Part of the bipartisan infrastructure law created the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program. That program provides funds for states to install fast chargers for electric vehicles (EVs).\n\n\n\nIn Minnesota\, we expect to invest about $68 million from this program over five years\, along with a 20% federal match.\n\n\n\nJoin the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) for an informational session about a unique opportunity to install electric vehicle charging stations. MnDOT is offering to reimburse up to 90% of project costs with grants through the NEVI program using a combination of state and federal funds. We anticIpate this grant round will open fall 2024.
