SUMMARY:Join a Respectful Conversation about Belonging in Fergus Falls
DESCRIPTION:Join a Respectful Conversation About Belonging in Fergus Falls\n\n \n\nJoin a conversation designed not to change minds\, but to strengthen our community\n\n \n\nWhat does it mean to belong in Fergus Falls? Do you know someone who has a different opinion about it than you? This can be a hard topic\, but we are coming together to face it head-on. \n\n \n\nThere are a lot of polarizing disagreements in our world but 86% of Americans want to do something to fix that. Respectful Conversations is a model thousands of Minnesotans have used in congregations\, campuses and cities to talk about hard things and leave feeling better\, not worse\, about the people they disagree with. Free speech is welcome. Previous participants have said:\n\n \n\n"This was a wonderful experience." \n\n"I am leaving with hope."\n\n"Thank you for this gift to democracy."\n\n \n\nMonday\, November 17\, 5:30 PM 8:00 PM\n\nGrace United Methodist Church (1100 Friberg Ave)\n\n \n\nFacilitated by Victoria McWane-Creek of Organization 4 Full Participation\, and brought to you by Minnesota Council of Churches\, the Respectful Conversations Project equips communities to use this award-winning model to host conversations that explore issues through the lens of deeply held convictions while enhancing relationships among those who disagree. \n\n \n\nTo register\, visit https://mnchurch.formstack.com/forms/respectful_conversations_registration
