DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a "Meet the Candidates" forum for MN State Legislative District 8 & 8A at A Center for the Arts theater downtown Fergus Falls on Friday\, October 14th. Doors open at 11:30am. The Chamber serves as the lead advocate and resource for our 330+ members and we create partnerships that foster a healthy business climate. This forum will focus on business-related issues that affect our region. Questions will be developed by the Chamber Advocacy Committee and each candidate will get equal time to respond\, however this is not a debate-style event. Tim Engstrom\, Advocacy Committee Chair and a Members of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors\, will moderate. Questions will not be taken from the audience\, however a "Meet and Greet" will follow the forum from 1:00-1:30pm (or as long as candidates and constituents stay). The following candidates have been invited:\n\nHouse of Representative District 8A:\n\nCJ Holl (DFL)\n\nBud Nornes (R)\n\nSenate District 8:\n\nBill Ingebrigtsen (R)\n\nShawn Olson (DFL)\n\n\n\n(Please note: signage\, posters\, banners or other items that may block visibility will not be allowed in the theater).
