In his role as Community Services Representative\, he is the person responsible for providing outreach for the Department and educating the general public on all aspects of the laws of the Department and services provided by the Department. Mr. Stiffin also partners with other government agencies to ensure the most efficient enforcement of laws for his and partner agencies.\n\n\n\nIn addition to his education and outreach roles\, Mr. Stiffin works as a Labor Investigator. As a Labor Investigator\, he is responsible for protecting the wage rights of current and former employees by enforcing all of Minnesota's wage & hour laws\, collectively known as the Minnesota Fair Labor Standards Act.
