DESCRIPTION:Lakes Country Service Cooperative is an OSHA Outreach training opportunity.  The OSHA Outreach Training Program for General Industry provides training for workers and employers on the recognition\, avoidance\, abatement\, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in general industry. This class will be delivered by an OSHA-authorized outreach trainer. Upon successful completion of the course\, participants will receive an OSHA General Industry Outreach completion card for the course completed.\n\n\n\nOSHA 10 General Industry\, March 29-30\, 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM \n\nThis class is intended to provide awareness of common job-related safety and health hazards and will cover specific OSHA standards of the course topics listed below.\n\n \n\nCourse Topics Include:\n\n	\n		\n			          Bloodborne Pathogens\n			          Hazard Communication/Employee Right to Know\n		\n		\n			          Electrical Safety\n			          Introduction to OSHA and the OSH Act\n		\n		\n			          Emergency Action Plan\n			          Machine Guarding\n		\n		\n			          Ergonomics\n			          Personal Protective Equipment\n		\n		\n			          Fall Protection\n			          Walking and Working Surfaces\n		\n	\n\n \n\nFee includes: Course material and lunch.\n\n\n\nThis is a voluntary program and does not meet the training requirements for any OSHA standards.
