DESCRIPTION:Paramedic Course\n\n\n\nCourses are offered at our EMS education training facilities in Fergus Falls - MN\, Morris - MN\, Jamestown - ND and many other locations throughout Minnesota and North Dakota as arranged.\n\nCourse length is approximately 18 months.\n\nITV connections throughout our training sites provide access to physician lectures\, group discussions and greater flexibility for rural providers to attend our paramedic program.\n\n Clinicals are tracked by FISDAP online.\n\nInstructors are seasoned pre-hospital EMS providers and certified PHTLS\, ACLS\, PALS and DOT instructors.\n\nParamedic Certification Course\n\n\n\nWe are accepting applications for our next course.\n\n\n\n Clinicals are tracked by FISDAP online and our clinical hospital and EMS coordinators. All instructors are seasoned pre-hospital EMS providers and certified PHTLS\, ACLS\, PALS\, and DOT instructors.\n\n\n\nAdmission Prerequisites\n\n\n\nStudents m ust be at least 18 years of age\n\nHigh school diploma or GED\n\nValid driver's license\n\nCurrent National or state EMT certification.\n\nCriminal background check.\n\nCurrent CPR certification\n\n\n\nClinical Internship\n\n\n\nClinical experience is required for each student. These clinicals are performance based. ETA has clinical affiliation agreements with many partner hospitals and EMS organizations in North Dakota and Minnesota. Clinicals are logged on FISDAP online and monitored by the course instructor/coordinator.\n\n\n\nCertification\n\n\n\nSuccessful completion of our Emergency Paramedic Course will qualify students to take State and National EMT -Paramedic examinations. These consist of both practical and written examinations. The participant will also be certified in PHTLS\, ACLS & PALS upon successful completion of the program.\n\n\n\nTuition\n\n\n\nTextbooks\, materials\, lab and application fees\, and tuition information is available by calling our Minnesota or North Dakota training sites. Students that successfully complete the didactic and ALL clinical components of the course will be eligible to take the National Registry practical and written exams. All testing fees are paid by the student candidate.\n\n\n\nApplication Fees: $250.00 (Non-Refundable)
