DESCRIPTION:The Minnesota Department of Education requires specific professional development activities for renewal of a teacher license. The six specific areas include:\n\n  Positive Behavioral Intervention Strategies\n\n  Accommodation\, Modification\, and Adaptation of Curriculum\, Materials\, and Instruction\n\n  Key Warning Signs for Early-Onset Mental Illness in Children and Adolescents\n\n  Reading Preparation\n\n  Technology\n\n  Best Teaching Practices for English Language Learners.\n\n\n\nLCSC is offering a one day workshop called "Renew Your License" that will cover all six areas. Teachers can choose to come to one or all sessions. Mount Faith\, Fergus Falls\, MN 56537\n\n\n\nPre-Payment is Required.\n\n\n\nCANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS\n\nCancellations will be accepted up to three business days prior to the event date for a full refund.\n\nCancellations made within 48 hours of the event start date will forfeit 50% of the event registration fee. Refund requests must be made no later than two weeks after the event.\n\nRefunds will not be given for non-attendance without prior notification.\n\nRefunds will be given for any event cancelled by LCSC.
