DESCRIPTION:The Minnesota Department of Education requires specific professional development activities for renewal of a teacher license. The five specific areas include:\n\n  Positive Behavioral Intervention Strategies\n\n  Accommodation\, Modification\, and Adaptation of Curriculum\, Materials\, and Instruction\n\n  Key Warning Signs for Early-Onset Mental Illness in Children and Adolescents\n\n  Reading Preparation\n\n  Technology (for licenses that expire on June 30\, 2012 and thereafter)\n\n\n\nLCSC is offering a one day workshop called "Renew Your License" that will cover all five areas. Teachers can choose to come to one or all sessions.
