DESCRIPTION:Public Invitation to a Town Hall Meeting\n\nTime: Thursday\, Sept 20th\, from 5-7pm\,\n\nPlace: City Hall Park\n\nPurpose: Featuring Sen. Bill Ingebrigsten and Celebrating Collaboration for State Funding on City Projects. All are welcome bring blankets or folding chairs!\n\n\n\nSchedule:\n\n5pm - Gathering at City Hall Park\, we will take a brief River Walk tour with an explanation of the new walking/biking bridge and trail grant from Mn State LCCMR for Fergus Falls downtown in the amount of $600\,000. We will explain the relationship of an earlier\, $600\,000 grant (2016) for Dairy Property acquisition\, river protection\, and trail development.\n\n\n\n5:30 pm   Back at the park below City Hall\, City\, Steve Eriksson on economic benefits\; Administrator\, Andrew Bremseth will introduce "Mr. Trails"   Ron Spangler\, Sr with Sen. Bill Ingebrigsten our main speaker on "Collaboration between City/Legislators for State Funding". Rep Bud Nornes will also be available. There will be a time for questions and discussion.\n\n\n\nMikel Olson\, Fergus Falls HRA will be speaking about the Small Cities Development Program grant that is being offered to residential homeowners in the neighborhoods of Arlington Street to Oak Stree\, and Vernon Avenue to Channing Avenue\, throughout Ward 4. Information has been provided to each homeowner but this will be an opportunity to ask questions and submit surveys to the HRA.\n\n\n\nThe Viking will cater BBQ's and Chips\n\nSweetie's Ice Cream will be served compliments of the Sunrise Rotary.\n\nIn the event of inclement weather\, we will gather in the Council Chambers.\n\n\n\n(There will be a drawing for a Mountain Bike donated by a local business to be given away must be present to win!)
