Living Well Education Series
Our monthly "Living Well" education series is back for another year starting this September. Speaking on "Communication Strategies and Resources for Dementia & Alzheimer's Caregivers" will be Kendra Lund, Program Manager for the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota.
Caregiving for loved ones with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease is stressful. As a Licensed Social Worker with a BSW in social work and a minor in sociology, Kendra has over 10 years of social work experience and currently serves families and the community through educational opportunities, and individualized support and services from the Alzheimer’s Association. Her Living Well Session on understanding differences between dementia and aging last spring was extremely popular. We’ve invited her back this fall to share effective communication strategies and community resources to ease the burden on those caring for persons with memory loss
