Fergus Falls State of the Community is Open to the Public
The State of the Community event is back again this fall - it will be from 11:30 am-1:00 pm on Thursday, November 14 at the Bigwood Event Center. The Fergus Falls Chamber of Commerce organizes this event partnering with the City of Fergus Falls, Greater Fergus Falls, and Otter Tail County.
This year we will have a keynote speaker, Kelly Asche, a Senior Researcher for the Center for Rural Policy & Development. Asche will speak about what rural communities need and how to grow. He is a very vibrant speaker - you will not want to miss him!
Another part of this event is Fergus Falls Business Gives, which highlights the Chamber member for-profit businesses who have donated two percent or more of their pre-tax earnings (in the form of cash, in-kind services/products, and volunteer hours) back into the Fergus Falls community. The Chamber strives to motivate, educate, and recognize local businesses for their significant contributions to our community. All information collected is confidential and no financial documents are required.
To register for Business Gives, please fill out the form that is part of the registration for State of the Community (registering for Business Gives automatically registers one person for lunch - additional people can be added for $25 each). The online registration is on our website www.fergusfalls.com. Pre-registration to attend Fergus Falls State of the Community is required.
