Social Security Workshop
The Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Social Security Workshop on Wednesday, March 28th at 5:15pm held at the OTP Community Rooms.
The class will cover:
- Social Security website calculators to help your planning with emphasis on the SSA online Retirement Estimator
- Learn your FRA & why you should care
- how much work do you need to be insured?
- How is your SSA retirement account determined?
- Should you take reduced benefits or wait?
- Can you work while receiving SSA retirement?
- Family benefits with emphasis on if your child or spouse might recieve benefits on your record
- Survivor benefits
- Enrolling in Medicare
- Solvency
