Advanced Birding Workshop
PWLC will host an advanced birding workshop on Tues., May 8th.
This is perfect for adult naturalists, backyard birdwatchers, and conversationalists who are ready to soar to the next level. Hone your birding skills by taking a closer look at our fine, feathered friends. We'll study bird anatomy, identification, phenology, migration, and local habitats indoors and out on Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm. The early bird gets the worm on Sat., at 6:30am when we set up nets to hopefully capture, band and release songbirds, an experience you'll never forget! Then we'll take a short drive to Nicholoson Waterfowl Production Area to search for warblers and other species in the field. We'll finish up just in time for lunch on your own. Please call PWLC to register. Bring your own notebook.
