Art Reception + Guest Lecture: Charles Beck Rarities & Masterworks

Please join us at Kaddatz Galleries on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 5PM - 7PM for the opening reception of Charles Beck: Rarities & Masterworks, the fourth and final exhibition celebrating the rich visual legacy of Charles Beck of A Year of Beck at Kaddatz Galleries! This event is free to attend and open to the public. Opening Reception and Lecture 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Thursday, October 26, 2023 6:00 pm Lecture: “Reflections on Charles Beck’s Legacy” by Brian Szott, Art Historian Former Curator of Art, Minnesota Historical Society C. BECK: Rarities & Masterworks is on view in the Studio K October 12 - December 23, 2023. Also on view at Kaddatz Galleries - Jenny Nellis: Contemplating Nature in our Main Gallery September 12 - October 28, 2023. About the Exhibition: C. Beck: Rarities & Masterworks showcases a variety of unique and masterful pieces done by Charles Beck throughout his career. This exhibit features rarely seen prints, including the last print completed by Beck; a one-of-a-kind painted Cathedral Forest block, paintings that demonstrate his exploration as an artist, a rare screenprint, an etching from his time in Mexico, and more. All pieces in the exhibition have been drawn from the Beck family collection unless otherwise noted.
