Fundraiser Auction for Super Storm Sandy Victims

A group of local Realtors are collecting new or sellable items for an auction to benefit victims of Superstorm Sandy.

“We did this before to benefit the hungry in Ethopia,” said Judi Olson of Century 21 Vista in Fergus Falls. “It was really successful”

Auctioneers Rudy and Adele Butenas of Eight Pines Auction Company in Pelican Rapids are donating their time to run the bidding.

Anyone with nice sell-able items is asked to contact the realty office Photos are encouraged. The auction is scheduled for Nov. 17.

Items can be dropped off at the Century 21 Vista downtown Fergus Falls. The auction will be at the Salvation Army in Fergus Falls.100 percent of proceeds will be donated through The Salvation Army.

“We would really like other organizations like churches and businesses as well as individuals from all over the county to contribute new and used goods,” said Olson. “Let’s make this a community effort with as much success as possible.”
