MN Chamber Regional Policy Meeting
Minnesota is at a crossroads. The future of our state & economy is at risk. Some believe we are beginning to lose our edge. An ongoing cycle of budget deficits and redistricting in 2012 mean the course we set now could have long-lasting impacts.
You can be confident that the MN Chamber will lead the business community through this uncertain time, but we cannot do it without you. As a member, we are seeking your guidance and counsel as we develop a proactive strategy for the next several years.
The MN Chamber will be hosting a series of meetings around the state designed to achieve a number of objectives:
- To seek your input on the key policy & economic issues that are affecting your company & its MN operations. Your feedback will become the basis for our legislative & business assistance strategy.
- Provide a brief overview of the highlights of the 2010 session & what the results mean for your business.
- To begin a discussion on public-sector service redesign & spending reform with business leaders like you. Topics will include public employee benefits & pensions, shared services, competitive sourcing, & the role of the business community in leading redesign & reform initiatives.
As a member, you play a critical role in setting the priorities & strategies for the MN Chamber. We hope you or one of your associates can join us at one of these meetings.
Please join us on Thursday, November 18th at 8am at the Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead, MN.
