OSHA 30 General Industry
Lakes Country Service Cooperative is offering this Outreach training opportunity. The OSHA Outreach Training Program for General Industry provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in general industry. This class will be delivered by an OSHA-authorized outreach trainer. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an OSHA General Industry Outreach completion card for the course completed.
The OSHA 30 hour class is intended for supervisors or workers with some safety responsibility.

· Confined Spaces and Permit Required Confined Spaces | · Machine Guarding |
· Electrical Safety | · Managing Safety and Health |
· Emergency Action Plan | · Material Handling and Storage |
· Ergonomics | · Personal Protective Equipment |
· Fall Protection | · Walking and Working Surfaces |
· Hazard Communication/Employee Right to Know | · Welding Cutting and Brazing |
· Introduction to OSHA and the OSH Act |
Fee includes: Course material and lunch.
This is a voluntary program and does not meet the training requirements for any OSHA standards. None of the courses within the Outreach Training Program is considered a certification.
