Thank you for helping to make the Library Renewal Project a reality for our community! The library held a soft opening on January 22 and since then nearly 20,000 visits have been made to the library, and items were checked out more than 21,000 times in February. With spring in the air and the snow melting--it's time to celebrate!
A Grand Opening Celebration for the Fergus Falls Public Library Renewal Project is set for Saturday, April 13. The event is free and open to all. Highlights include:
9 a.m.: Noon Kiwanis Egg Hunt in the Library, followed by the annual Noon Kiwanis Teddy Bear Picnic Family Storytime
10 a.m.-Noon: Facepainting in the Children's Area
11 a.m.: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
1 p.m.: "This One's for the Books: Our Library Through the Ages," presented by Chris Schuelke, OTCHS Director. Sponsored by the Friends of the Fergus Falls Public Library
1-3 p.m.: Meet the Makerspace: 3D pen and printer, button maker, robots and more!
We look forward to celebrating with you!
