Someplace Safe's 24th Annual Walk and Vigil
In recognition of October as Domestic Violence Awarenss Month, Someplace Safe has planned the 24th Annual Walk & Vigil. The Walk will begin at the city parking lot near Pamida at 11:30 AM, with walkers leaving at 11:45 AM. Walkers will proceed west on Lincoln Ave., south on Union Ave., east on Washington Ave. The Walk will end at Otter Tail Power Community Rooms where there will be a short program and vigil, with a balloon release to remember the people who were murdered as a result of domestic violence in Minnesota in 2010. A free lunch will be served to all participants.
