USDA Fresh Box deliveries coming to Fergus Falls
The aim of the program is to connect surplus food with food banks and nonprofits that serve people in need, during this difficult time, while utilizing fresh and perishable food that would otherwise go to waste. This program has provided employment by awarding contracts to small and mid-size distributors to bring back furloughed workers to pack the boxes.
Please contact Fergus Falls Food Shelf and Bethel Lutheran Church for more information about each of the deliveries.
If you're able to help unload and distribute food, please contact Pastor Rich Iverson at Bethel Fergus Falls and let him know what hours you are able to help. If you have a group that could help (neighbors, friends, co-workers, youth group), this would be a rewarding opportunity.
