Drive Line Technician
Minnesota Motor Company, a busy and reputable GM Dealership, is seeking a highly skilled, experienced full time Drive Line Technician to join our service team. If you excel in diagnostics, take pride in precision repairs, and want to work in a professional dealership environment with a steady workflow, you may be the Powertrain Specialist we are looking for! We offer competitive pay, GM training and certification opportunities.
The pay for this position is based on production, experience, and starts at a flat rate of $30 per hour with the potential for bonus pay. Expected pay is $50,000 - $100,00 per year based on productivity and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs of automatic transmissions and everything related to them.
- Complete warranty and customer-pay work according to GM standards
- Maintain accurate repair documentation and follow dealership processes
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members
Requirements:
- Transmission repair and replacement experience a plus
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with GM service procedures and OEM tools
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and handle high-volume workflow
Pay: $30.00 - $44.00 per hour
