SUBSTITUTE Special Education Paraprofessional (Fergus Falls)

Lakes Country Service Cooperative (LCSC) is seeking Substitute Special Education Paraprofessionals to join our team at Lakes Country Academy (LCA) in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. In this role, you will support our K–12 students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and emotional behavioral disorders (EBD). As part of a Setting IV special education program, LCA provides individualized support, structured routines, and social skills instruction in a safe and encouraging environment. Our substitute paraprofessionals play a critical role in maintaining continuity of care and support when regular staff are absent.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with classroom routines, academics, and behavior support
- Help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff in a structured, supportive environment
- Step in as needed to ensure smooth daily learning for students
- High school diploma or equivalent AND
- ONE of the following:
- 60+ postsecondary credits
- Associate’s degree
- Passing score on Paraeducator or ParaPro exam
- Experience working with students with challenging behaviors
- A positive attitude, patience, and a passion for helping students succeed
