Financial Coordinator

In this role, the Financial Coordinator will own the financial responsibilities of maintaining customer-focused rebate programs and marketing programs so that OTP can continue meeting its mission.
Some examples of those activities will include:

  • Own financial status reporting processes including preparing and analyzing financial plans, forecasts and reports and providing regular updates.
  • Develop and maintain Demand Side Management programs in Otter Tail’s Sales & Marketing Reporting Tool system.
  • Enter customer rebate application information into the reporting system
Qualifications:

  • There’s a lot of change in our industry so a positive, can-do attitude and a continuous improvement mindset is required to support the various projects and teams you’ll work with.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and high attention to details, especially with data entry, are required for success.
  • Much of this work requires a deep understanding of our systems and programs so the ability to learn quickly and digest a lot of new processes will be critical.
  • An associate degree in business, accounting, finance or related field with working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
