Part-Time Maintenance Assistant

LB Homes is looking for an enthusiastic and able Part-Time Maintenance Assistant primarily for our Broen Home facility.  Hours are approximately 7:00am to 3:30pm every other weekend (approximately 16 hours per week).  Must have a current and valid Driver's license. 

POSITION SUMMARY

Duties involve general maintenance tasks as well as grounds work including weeding, spraying, watering, etc.  Position is responsible for taking care of garbage, locking and unlocking doors, general cleaning and maintenance, and for performing work to keep facility and buildings in good condition.  Other duties may involve routine maintenance and repair of electrical or mechanical equipment, installing and assembling equipment, painting, cleaning, repairing, and maintaining all aspects of the buildings and grounds. In addition, position is responsible for transporting nursing home residents and their belongings as needed.

Education:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience:

1 year of related experience preferred but will train

Computer Skills:

Basic computer skills; ability to use email system and internet

Certifications & Licenses:

Valid Driver's License
