As a key member of our dynamic Labor and Employment Team, this position will provide assistant support relating to a broad range of labor and employment matters, including employment litigation, collective bargaining agreements, defending public entities, workplace investigations, labor negotiations, workplace trainings, and contract disputes. You will also assist in matters involved in medical leave, wage and hour regulations, workplace misconduct, and employee separations, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive and strategic legal support across these diverse areas.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Calendar and monitor case deadlines.
- Communicate with clients to gather information and relay periodic updates.
- Assist attorney in preparing for court appearances, trials, meetings, and other matters.
- Review, finalize, and prepare court filings.
- Research and understand state and federal briefing and filing requirements.
- Complete additional assignments as required/assigned.
- Paralegal degree or certificate is preferred but not required, suitable candidates will be trained.
- Prior law firm or financial-sector experience is preferred but not required.
- Initiative-taker with ability to seek and complete tasks independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Perceptive and meticulous.
- Capacity to regulate and perform under stress.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, and working knowledge of Adobe.
- Wage range: $22 - $25 per hour.
