FERGUS HOME & HARDWARE – HARDWARE SALES ASSOCIATE

Locally owned, family run business seeking FULL-TIME Sales Associate for our Hardware Store. As a Hardware Sales Associate, you play a crucial role in assisting customers with their hardware and home improvement needs. Provide customers with quality products and expert advice. We are seeking a friendly, reliable person to join our team. A strong understanding of hardware, farm, and lawn and garden materials a plus but not required. Will train the right person.

WAGE

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour

STORE HOURS

Monday -Friday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Closed Sundays

40 hours per week. Work every other Saturday. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

· Day off during the week when working scheduled Saturday.

BASIC SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.

· Previous experience working in sales or customer-based employment.

· Knowledge and ability to operate material handling equipment such as strap carts, shoulder harnesses, two-wheeled carts, forklift, and other material handling equipment.

· Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds.

· Ability to pass a background check.

· Valid driver's license.
