Aquatic Center Pool Managers
THE OPPORTUNITY
The City of Fergus Falls has openings for Seasonal Pool Managers to oversee the coordination of pool personnel and pool activities. This position also includes proactively providing a safe environment for patrons.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively provide a safe environment for Patrons.
- General oversight of all pool operations.
- Maintain active surveillance of the pool area.
- Supervise swimming instructors, lifeguards, pool members, pool events, and all other FFAC Activities. Communicate effectively with co-workers, parents, pool patrons, and program participants.
- Must be able to actively plan and coordinate.
- Maintain accurate records as required by the FFAC and/or state health department.
- Including pool records for pool attendance, pool chemical usage, accident reports.
- Perform equipment checks and routine safety inspections per shift.
- Performs chemical testing Lead monthly in-service trainings and on-boarding orientation.
- Swimsuit and certifications will be eligible for reimbursement.
- All other duties assigned by Recreation Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Lifeguard and up to date in first aid and lifesaving courses
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve

Starting at $17.00/ hour
