Federal Universal Service Charge FUSC Rate Increase
Due to a recent FCC decision, the Federal Universal Service Charge (FUSC) amount on your bill will increase effective October 1, 2026. FUSC is charged as a percentage of interstate rate elements. The Federal Universal Service Fund is designed to help keep local telephone rates affordable for all customers in all areas of the US.

Sun Outages Fall 2026
Twice a year you may experience some degree of television interference due to “sun outages.” Such outages are caused by a phenomenon called a “solar satellite interference.” These brief outages occur when the sun is in direct line behind a satellite transmitting cable signals.
