We are going to be covering the beginning, middle, and end of the employee life cycle for small businesses. What do you need to consider prior to hiring an employee? What about after they are hired, what do I do now? How do I help to ensure success in their new career? What if an employee doesn't work out or decides to leave? Specific topics will include:
1. Pre-hiring work including job description/job posting, interviewing, and selecting a candidate.
2. Employee Onboarding and Training.
3. Evaluations/Feedback and Communication.
4. Terminations - voluntary/involuntary - and Starting Over/Lessons Learned.
