Visit Fergus Falls invites business people and residents alike to participate in an exciting event on Friday, May 11: “Hometown Tourist.”  Two, three-hour sessions (9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-4pm) are available and  include a motor coach tour with brief stops at the Otter Tail County Museum, A Center for the Arts and Prairie Wetlands Learning Center.

          “This is an opportunity for people to get to know Fergus Falls better,” said Jean Bowman, executive director of Visit Fergus Falls. “Customer service is an integral part of every successful business. Let us expand on that by helping employees be more informed about the community they serve.” Good customer service – especially to tourists – increases the likelihood that they will have a great experience in Fergus Falls, come back for a repeat vacation, and tell others what a hospitable community we have.

          Take a journey through Fergus Falls in a comfortable motor coach with a knowledgeable tour guide. Registration is only $10 per person. 

          The tour is suited for front-line staff and managers alike. And while it’s geared toward a business audience, individuals interested in joining the tour are welcome too.
