Road Less Traveled: Advance Care Planning

Aging is inevitable in this journey of life. Healthcare providers and others who work in related fields are well-served by a solid understanding of the basics of advance care planning. Knowledge is crucial to helping people plan in the best and most appropriate manner. Advance directives are a “Road Less Traveled”. However, having more information and making decisions regarding care in our final days can lead to a clear direction on our journey.
