Substitute Teacher Workshop
Participants will receive training in the substitute teacher's role in the classroom and district, the basics of classroom management, instruction, child development and communication skills.
Participants will also be assisted in completing application forms as required by the Minnesota Department of Education.
Bachelor's degree required.
Presenter:Kris Mickelson
Kris has over twenty years experience in education as a classroom teacher, a substitute teacher, and as a facilitator. She is also the Academic Coordinator for the Upward Bound Program at North Dakota State University.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
• Cancellations will be accepted up to three days prior to the event date for a full refund.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event start date will forfeit 50% of the course registration fee. Refund requests must be made no later than two weeks after the event.
• Refunds will not be given for non-attendance without prior notification. Those who have not paid in advance will be billed for the full amount.
• Refunds will be given for any event cancelled by LCSC.
