Chamber Celebrates New Businesses, New Members & a New Location
We want your help welcoming Chrissy Davenport, the new owner of SoapWerks Naturals by Re-Ewe’able, as a new Chamber member. Davenport has farmed sheep for years and understands the benefits of wool, so having her storefront is the perfect opportunity to expand her business Re-Ewe’able by purchasing SoapWerks.
Davenport makes wool-felted soap (making the SoapWerks bar soap last twice as long), wool-felted decorative plant spikes, wool washcloths/scrubbers, wool car fresheners, and more. She also uses waste wool from shearing her rare sheep breed Romeldale/CVM (California Variegated Mutant) sheep to create wool pellets for plants and gardens. Wool pellets create a fertilizer, retain water, and contain natural nutrients to benefit plant growth. She will make the SoapWerks products like soaps, lotions, facial products, oils, and offer the Refillery. Davenport is also excited to offer more artisanal products with expanded scent offerings, such as beer soaps made with Outstate Brewing beer.
Previous owners of SoapWerks, Chris and Jan Werkau, announced they were retiring and Davenport was inspired to purchase their business. The idea of making her soap and all the other natural products of the SoapWerks brand merged so well with her wool business and the products she offers.
Besides owning her business, Davenport and her husband have a small farm called Hay Ewe Hill. They have two school-age sons who have been thrilled to help out at the store.
SoapWerks by Re-Ewe’able (216 W Lincoln Ave., Fergus Falls) will be open Tuesday-Saturday 11:00 am-5:30 pm, and she will offer extended hours during the holiday season. Please check her Facebook page for updates. To reach her, message her on Facebook, email woolpellets@gmail.com, or call 701-388-1821. You can also shop online at www.reeweable.com.

Help us welcome new Chamber member Jordan Elizabeth Photography. Owner Jordan Toso has years of experience in photography and officially went into business seven years ago. She specializes in weddings, senior photos, families, newborns, and professional headshots. Toso would love to expand into business product photography. She is always open to new client ideas and enjoys being creative in her pictures.
Toso’s love of photography began when she was 12 years old when her art class did a section on photography. She first dreamed of doing landscape photography for National Geographic magazine but realized she loved capturing people more. She works full-time at a local bank, so her business works well for evenings and weekends.
Toso is offering professional headshots at the Fergus Falls Chamber Office on Monday, January 20 from 9:00 am-1:00 pm and on Wednesday, February 19 from 1:00-5:00 pm. Pictures will cost $40 for Chamber members and not-yet-members $50. Photo times are available every 15 minutes. Please search for these photo session times on our Community Event Calendar (FergusFalls.com) to reserve your time! Several appointment times have already been reserved.
For more information about Toso’s services see her website https://jordanelizabeth.photography/. She can be reached at jordan@jordanelizabeth.photography.
Welcome to our circle of businesses, Jordan Elizabeth Photography!
Sugar High Cannabis Consulting & Dispensary moved around the corner to 111 N. Cascade St., Fergus Falls in December. We celebrated with a ribbon cutting to mark the occasion while they offered storewide sales, hot cider, and cookies. Sugar High offers THC and CBD products along with consultations. They also produce hemp-derived cannabis edibles in a commercial kitchen at another location. Sugar High is open Monday through Saturday 12:00-8:00 pm.
Sugar High Cannabis Consulting & Dispensary has been in business for two years and business owner Emily McCune said it’s the “perfect space” for this business with great visibility on Cascade along with easier parking. Plus, her newest business will open later in 2025 right next door (stay tuned). Congratulations, Emily, on your beautiful new space! Stop by sometime and check it out.
