Fergus Falls Area Habitat for Humanity Seeking Future Homeowners in the City of Ottertail, MN

The Fergus Falls Area Habitat for Humanity is now accepting applications from individuals and families in need of safe, affordable housing who are ready to partner with us on the journey to homeownership in the City of Ottertail, MN.

Habitat for Humanity is not a giveaway program. We offer a hand-up—not a handout—to qualified applicants who are willing to work alongside volunteers to build their home and make affordable monthly mortgage payments. Selected families must meet specific income guidelines, demonstrate a need for housing, and be willing to complete "sweat equity" hours as part of the partnership.

“Homeownership changes lives. It provides stability, security, and a foundation for future generations,” says Stan Carignan, Executive Director of Fergus Falls Area Habitat. “We’re excited to welcome new families into the application process and help them take the first steps toward building a brighter future.”

Families who partner with Habitat will be supported through the entire process—from construction through move-in day—with guidance and encouragement every step of the way.

Interested applicants can visit our website (ffhabitat.org) to learn more about qualifications and to schedule an informational meeting. The application window will remain open until a family is selected.
