The Wildflour joined the Fergus Falls Chamber in August 2024. Andrea Kirsch, owner of the bakery, began baking when she was a young child and started baking about 10 years ago in a cottage baker business. Her dream to one day have her own bakery became a reality in August 2024, now occupying the former “City Cafe & Bakery” location in downtown Fergus Falls. Kirsch is no stranger to owning a business though as the previous owner of The Dragonfly Children’s Boutique
Baking was how Kirsch connected best with her grandma, making things like fudge and cookies in the kitchen. After her grandmother passed away, Andrea thought about baking as a business idea. Kirsch loves the science behind baking, but also loves the artistic part of decorating baked items. She finds immense satisfaction in both.
Kirsch opened The Wildflour by coordinating efforts with Sandy’s Donuts in Fargo. They deliver hundreds of fresh donuts each day to her bakery downtown.
The Wildflour is open Tuesdays-Saturdays from 7:00-11:00 am. These hours give her time to work on her custom creations like cakes, cupcakes, croissants, cinnamon rolls, cruffins, and other pastries. She plans to gradually add her products to Sandy’s donut options daily. The bakery also offers Stumbeano’s coffee and juice.

New Spotlight member RNS Services joined the Chamber in August 2024. Owner Ryan Ness started his business earlier this year. His wife, Livvy, is the owner of Attitudes For Hair.
Ness offers full vehicle detail services for cars, trucks, vans, boats, pontoons, campers, fish houses, side-by-sides, collector vehicles, lawn tractors, and more! He can polish boats and pontoons dockside or at his shop in Fergus Falls. In addition to detailing services, Ness provides full-service commercial and residential lawn care. In the winter, he will provide residential snow removal. FREE estimates are available for all services: details, lawn care, and snow removal.
