Nelson Auto Center Launches ''Fill a Ford'' Food Drive to Support Fergus Falls Food Shelf

Nelson Auto Center, a proud member of the Fergus Falls business community, today announced its participation in the national "Fill a Ford" food drive. The dealership has chosen to direct all local donations to the Fergus Falls Food Shelf, reinforcing its commitment to supporting residents and addressing food insecurity in the region.

The food drive officially began this morning with a kick-off donation from Nelson Auto sales professionals, Travis Hopkins and Trevor Funkhouser. The dealership is challenging the entire Fergus Falls community to join the effort and help fill a Ford truck, which is stationed in the showroom, with non-perishable food items.

We believe in the power of our community to come together for a great cause.  The Fill a Ford drive gives us a unique opportunity to use our platform to make a tangible difference for our neighbors. Every donation, no matter the size, will help provide meals for families served by the Fergus Falls Food Shelf.

Donations are being accepted now through October 15, 2025, at Nelson Auto Center, located at 2228 College Way in Fergus Falls. The dealership encourages local businesses, residents, and organizations to participate.
