New Exhibit: Traditional Nordic Christmas Exhibit
Kick-off the Christmas season and reconnect or explore new Nordic traditions.
The fantasy and traditions of Nordic Jul will come to life in this celebratory exhibit starting Friday, November 6, when the opening reception introduces Tomte Nisse, a painted old sleigh, treats, demonstrations, live music & photo booth from 4-7 p.m. at the Otter Tail County Historical Society, 1110 Lincoln Ave. W., Fergus Falls.
This exhibit is sponsored by the local Sons of Norway with donations for the event going to OTCHS.
Traditional Nordic Christmas will run through the end of January, but don’t wait too long and miss out, you don’t want to make the spirits unhappy.
OTCHS will also be on Saturday, December 19, and offer another chance for God Jul. To stay up-to-date on what’s going on at OTCHS follow their facebook page or become a member. Members get free admission. Contact OTCHS.org for more information (218) 736-6038.
