Solid Waste Public Information & Education Officer
Otter Tail County is accepting applications for a full-time Public Information & Education Officer to work in the Solid Waste Department.
The purpose of the Public Information & Education Officer position is to further the overall county solid waste management program, county solid waste management plan, and Otter Tail County Board directive through developing and implementing public information/education programs to promote all departmental programs as well as the hierarchy of waste reduction, reuse, recycling, composting, waste disposal, and hazardous waste management. These programs are delivered via a combination of public presentations, radio and television interviews, hands-on learning activities, newspaper/magazine articles, public displays, printed newsletters/brochures, websites, and social media outlets.
